I spent my WHOLE 3-day MLK weekend tiling my kitchen backsplash! I’ve had the tile since October of last year, so I was so excited to actually take it out of the box and get it on the wall!
After a long [and slightly painful] process, my dolce vita laminate countertop has been chosen, ordered, installed, removed, reordered, reinstalled, and is now perfect!
I finally found a kitchen island that suited my kitchen’s style and wasted no time purchasing, assembling, and using it!
What do you think of my new multi-function sink system? The single basin is hugeeeee. It also includes a second smaller bowl (with drain), a colander, and a solid bamboo cutting board that slide in the track. So cool.
These past two weeks, dad and I have been working rearranging the cabinets. In my last post I went over the demo, installation of a new cabinet, and installing an over-the-range microwave. This week I will cover what we’ve done to complete the cabinet installation!
This weekend was a very, very busy one. On Saturday, dad and I began the kitchen renovation. Thankfully, neither of us were injured in the process and are still on speaking terms. 🙂
The countertops in my kitchen are very very old. They are formica, in a mustardy yellow color. They are in decent shape but just so outdated. Unfortunately, my budget doesn’t have room to replace them right now, so I’m trying to work around them. Then it dawned on me… why work around them? Let’s just…
